Problems such as discrepancies in procurement, excess stock, and lack of stock require the right solution. This study applied the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method to classify drug data management at the Soreang Health Center. Data from 100 types of Medicinewere used to group Medicinebased on the intensity of their use. The findings showed that FCM was able to group Medicineinto three categories: high, medium, and low, with an accuracy rate of 85.61%. The implication is that this study provides insight for the management of the Soreang Health Center in optimizing drug inventory management, enabling more effective drug planning and procurement. This method can be applied in other health centers to improve drug management practices
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Mukrim, Muh. The Fuzzy Tsukamoto method was utilized to evaluate the suitability of food ingredients for diabetics by considering variables such as Glycemic Index, carbohydrate, fiber, fat, and protein content. Rules were established to classify foods into categories: recommended, permissible with restrictions, and not recommended. The developed system was tested to verify the alignment between fuzzy logic outputs and expert evaluations. The results demonstrate that the system effectively guides diabetics in selecting appropriate foods, ensuring dietary compliance and better glycemic control. The conclusion emphasizes the potential of the fuzzy logic-based system as a reliable decision support tool for dietary management in diabetes.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Buana Health and Technology Innovation https://www.epublikasi.digitallinnovation.com/index.php/johati/article/view/230 Public Health on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior to Prevent Dengue Fever: A Literature Review 2025-05-29T15:14:13+00:00 Diyanah Kumalasary diyanahkumalasary@gmail.com Akmevi Carissa Azachra akmevicaris@gmail.com Fika Nurul Hidayah fikanurulhidayah@gmail.com
The low implementation of PHBS in household settings will trigger various diseases including dengue fever and diarrhea. For example, not carrying out activities to eradicate mosquito larvae in households will trigger the breeding of Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes which will transmit the dengue virus as the cause of dengue fever. In Indonesia, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is still a major health problem. This research was conducted using a literature review study with the Traditional review method, Traditional Review is a literature review method that has been commonly carried out by researchers, and the results are found in many existing survey papers. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a fundamental element that aims to improve the quality of life of the community by achieving the expected health status. As stated in the Constitutional Agreement of the World Health Organization in 1948 that the degree of health is fundamental for everyone regardless of race, religion, politics, and socioeconomic level. The degree of health in question can be achieved through the behavior of someone who pays attention to health. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an acute viral infectious disease caused by the dengue virus which is characterized by a fever of 2-7 days accompanied by bleeding manifestations, decreased platelets (thrombocytopenia), hemoconcentration marked by plasma leakage (increased hematocrit, ascites, pleural effusion, hypoalbuminemia). Public Health about Clean and Healthy Living Behavior Preventing Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is very important because DHF is an acute viral infection.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Buana Health and Technology Innovation https://www.epublikasi.digitallinnovation.com/index.php/johati/article/view/233 The Effectiveness of Chayote Consumption on Increasing Hemoglobin Levels in Pregnant Women 2025-07-09T04:06:02+00:00 Nur Ismi Wahyuni chimmyazure@gmail.com Heli Adiani helialdiani@gmail.com
Anemia in pregnant women remains a major public health problem because it poses serious risks for both maternal and fetal health outcomes, including preterm birth, low birth weight, and increased maternal morbidity. Although iron tablets are the standard treatment, their use is often limited due to side effects that reduce compliance. Therefore, alternative complementary approaches with fewer side effects, such as the consumption of chayote (Sechium edule), are needed. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of chayote consumption in increasing hemoglobin levels among pregnant women. A pretest–posttest design was applied involving 30 pregnant women as respondents. Hemoglobin levels were measured using the Easy Touch GCHb device before and after chayote consumption. Data analysis was conducted using the paired t-test to compare mean values. The findings revealed that the mean hemoglobin level before chayote consumption was 9.7 g/dL, and after consumption, it increased to 10.9 g/dL. Statistical testing indicated that the improvement was significant (p < 0.05), suggesting that chayote consumption effectively enhanced hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. These results highlight the potential of chayote as a complementary food-based intervention to prevent and reduce anemia during pregnancy with minimal side effects.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nur Ismi Wahyuni, Heli Adiani https://www.epublikasi.digitallinnovation.com/index.php/johati/article/view/242 Integration of Forward Chaining and Bayes’ Theorem in Expert System Development for Malnutrition Diagnosis 2025-08-31T03:44:45+00:00 La Surimi lasurimi@mail.uho.ac.id Yuyun Sulistiawati yuyunsulistiawati8@gmail.com Rizal Adi Saputra rizaladisaputra@uho.ac.id Andi Tenriawaru andi.tenriawaru@uho.ac.id
Malnutrition refers to an imbalance in nutritional intake and affects the development of the human body. Based on survey data from the Ministry of Health in 2022, the prevalence of malnutrition in Indonesia was 21.6%, exceeding the prevalence standard set by the WHO of 20%. This study aims to build an expert system that has the ability to diagnose malnutrition through the application of the forward chaining method and Bayes' theorem. The forward chaining method is used to develop rules based on the symptoms observed in the patient. Meanwhile, Bayes' theorem is used to calculate the probability of malnutrition based on the combination of symptoms that appear in the patient. The integration of these two methods is expected to increase the accuracy in diagnosing malnutrition. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the application of the forward chaining method and Bayes' theorem in the system was able to diagnose a sample data of 150 patients with an accuracy rate of 98.67%. This indicates that this expert system has the potential to assist healthcare professionals and the community in making diagnoses.
2025-09-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Buana Health and Technology Innovation
